Due to updated COVID-19 health guidelines released by Governor Baker:
Members and Friends of FBC Dorchester are advised that FBCD will continue to have on-line “Zoom” and limited in person services at this time.
If you attend the in-person service, please be advised that the MAXIMUM capacity in the sanctuary is twenty-five (25) and the following rules apply in the building as part of our commitment to safe care. We appreciate your cooperation.
- MASK POLICY: We require ALL people, including those vaccinated, to wear a mask and to follow the usher’s directions on the use of masks and social distancing. Your mask must be worn during the entire time of your visit. The only exceptions are – Children under two; and – people with a medical condition that precludes the wearing of a mask.
- SOCIAL DISTANCING: We have designated certain pews to accommodate physical distancing to mitigate transmission of infection.
- Sit ONLY in the designated areas, not in the taped off pews. Unless you are all from the same household, only 3 people may sit in any one pew.
- Please stay 6 feet distant from other people. (If you and the other person extended your arms towards each other and they touch, you are too close.)
- Please NO personal contact such as hugging or hand shaking. “Virtual” hugs and/or hand shaking that does not result in personal contact are ok.
- People who are not vaccinated will be required to sit in a designated area. ALL people are welcome; but, we continue to encourage all to be vaccinated if medically able.
We encourage anyone who is vulnerable and/or unvaccinated to attend our services via Zoom every Sunday at 10:30 AM. Zoom Link: (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88686321422)
PLEASE BE SAFE AND BE CONSIDERATE OF YOUR NEIGHBOR’S SAFETY.
We will keep you informed of updates.
With our blessings upon all of you for good health:
